This three-track EP is an epic introduction to the one-man band that is Chiminyo. A skilled drummer and percussionist, Chiminyo is a vital part of the London music scene as a member of Maisha, Don Kipper and Cykada.

I Am Chiminyo is a departure from the jazz territory and an introduction to his electronic solo project. Each track is performed on live drums, which then trigger synth sounds - no loops or backing tracks. Evocative of drum and bass legends such as LTJ Bukem and echoing the likes of Squarepusher and DJ Shadow, this is the ultimate definition of Chiminyo's sound and style.
